As reported on The Arizona Humane Society’s website, one in three pets will go missing during their lifetime. According to studies, our canine friends are 21.9% less likely to be returned home without microchipping. But with a microchip, the number who are reunited soars!  Dogs have a 52.2% chance of being reunited with their owners once again. The numbers are even more dramatic for our feline friends: Without microchipping kitties have less than 1.8% chance of seeing their loved ones again but with microchipping the number is increased to 38.5%.
